Each year, student's chosen for the Cooperative Youth Leaders program take a 7-day trip to Washington, D.C. This trip, namely called the Youth Tour of D.C. (YTDC), enables students to visit our Nation's capital, visit monuments, memorials, and museums, and learn that Mississippi is not a forgotten piece of the United States.
To ensure the group of 85 students stay together, matching shirts are required. Each shirt has some sort of tie-in to Mississippi, allowing students to educate students from other state's when asked about their shirts.
Each design was meticulously thought out, matching the design to the activities of each day. The goal of these shirts were to unite and educate students all while having a fun, young look that appeals to the high school demographic.
